Anyone been today or planning on going at all this week to the red ball game or the T20 on Sat?
Forecast looks solid and we’ve made a decent start today

Very good play today on what looks a good cricket wicket

Would have taken the leaders being all out for 250 when they won the toss and decided to bat and Derbyshire no wickets down at the close of play

Lets see if we can kick on tomorrow now

I called for an hour after tea when it was free yesterday as I had kids (including an extra one) and I was quite impressed with our bowling. Got a funeral today but might do the same later if I'm still with it!

Not got a ticket for Saturday yet.

The way the wickets are tumbling, the corridors of Lords will be full of disdainful head shaking and demands for a pitch inspector to be despatched to where ever Chesterfield maybe and get the pitch condemned to avoid future travails.

What a great three days of cricket that was. You can stick the 500 v 500 doctrine those idiots in charge of the game want. Masood’s 98 was worth twice as much as the his 200’s on flat tracks .

Only gripe is the £4.50 a pint in the Brampton Beer tent. When I asked about the price differential between the cricket and the Technique he blamed Derbyshire insisting the prices had to be the same as they are at Derby. Stupid and a rip off

There is a very unlucky tree in on the grass bank. Had my lunch under it on Monday and witnessed 7 Derbyshire wickets go down for 20 runs in an hour on Monday. Witnessed Middlesex lose 3 wickets in about 10 minutes in the same position today! Moved sharpish when Derbyshire came into bat.

Listened to the commentary occasionally and the Middlesex contingent that included Roland Butcher were waxing lyrical about the ground and the wicket. So we’re the many Middlesex supporters, however they were a crusty looking lot

They certainly didn’t come across as cricket snobs like the scum that surround our fair county

Would the T20 on Saturday be better getting rearranged for Sunday when there's a lot less chance of rain?

A cracking 3 days cricket

Micky Arthur has certainly got the derbyshire lads playing to his brand of cricket and in previous seasons when the usual one out all out collapse happened in the first innings that would have been the end of the match

Not this season though and they fought back to turn the tide in their favour despite Middlesex continually wanting to change the ball again in Derbyshires second innings

Funny how the bowling side never want the ball changed when they are taking wickets with the original one lol

Bring on the Puddings now on Saturday weather permitting of course

Forecast isn't looking so good at the minute so it could be an afternoon in the pub but hopefully the rain will hold off as I am looking forward to watching us humbling the puddings! Optimistic too given our upturn in form this season....

It's looking like every chance of a full game on time according to the one I'm looking at.

A customer of mine swears by these https://www.yr.no/en

Hope your right mate! it's just a shame the weather isn't like it was yesterday....a dry day would be good but obviously not in every sense of the word given the Brampton Brewery Beer tent should be there!

I use BBC and met forecasts but they never seen to match each other....

I normally use Met Office, they and BBC used to match until the BBC switched to using Meteo as the forecast provider. Current met office forecast as heavy rain starting around 2pm which is annoying and lasting a while.
