With madden signing, Colclough back fit and IF clucas signs (or someone equally as good in a similar position) Dobs might not find himself starting game after game, especially given PCs preference to rotate his attacking options.
If Dobra can improve his end product then he should be looking to force PC in to starting him every week but I strongly doubt it?ll happen.
If end product means goals scored I believe he did as well as, if not better, than most that played in the ?three?.
Defensively, he?s improved significantly too.
Yes, at times, he might hold on to the ball too long but his ability to carry the ball forward at pace is an asset too. -

Does it matter, ??
Can you have 30 players on the books, and then name only 22 for the league squad??
Bit like teams have to name a 25 man champions league squad??
Must admit, I do not know, but I would not think it is in a players interest to be tied to a club but not be part of the squad.
I believe all injuries, including long term ones, have to be covered by named members of the squad plus U21 players and it is not permitted to draw down on players not originally named in the squad. -

Scotland in action tonight, might see Cooper get some game time.
Seen a post on x that we're only one more signing away from our limit. Have to be some outgoings if we're going to sign a couple more.
I think we are already up to the 22 outfield players over the age of 21 limit.
As such, for every one in it will have to be one out from here on in.
So, it is going to get interesting. -

As he gets older and wiser he might prefer to choose happiness over money.
Then, again, if the opportunity came to manage a big club he might decide to give it one last shot. This, though, could be tempered by his experiences in the past such as at Ipswich.
There will come a time when he might want to retire and, I would suggest, we are a club which might allow him to do that gradually. Would any other club allow him to do that?
