Prolific striker Andy Bishop should be in the Bury attack on Saturday and he should be a real threat. Last season he tallied 19 goals in the league last season in 37 starts and 7 sub appearances. In the FA Cup, he played 5 and scored 5. He should not be underestimated.

Glynn Hurst returns to Saltergate, and although not as prolific as his 26 year old striking partner, he has experience and is well travelled. He forms a good partnership with Bishop and this pair should be regarded as a threat for Chesterfield.

I believe Page and Austin, although slow, should be able to cut off air supply to the front two, which leaves through balls and passes to feet. Anything to feet, I feel our defenders have the toughness to deal with. Glynn is 5'10" and Bishop is 6'0".

Picks and Alan should be have the pace to cover any through balls. Hopefully.

Let's hope for a solid performance and a winning performance. Good luck Lee and the lads.

Bit early

I can see this being easy for some reason. Don't want to be cocky but I can see 2/3-0. I can't see Bury scoring.

Yeh, I did predict Town 2-0 Bury. I think we're due a clean sheet because we have the quality at the back.

Agreed, I can see us winning this one comfortably. One of the best home performances last year was against
Bury so a repeat of that would be good.
They have just signed Andy Morrell this week so Hursty may only be on the bench.
Hopefully Rico will have another striker in before Saturday as I can't see Boden being the answer if anything happens
to Jack or Ward.

How old is Hursty now?

A lot of his game was based purely on pace, so was wondering if he's slowed down a bit with age :)
