I think if a direct lie is the best our spin machine can come out with then we should be looking to change the engine. If anyone ever wanted an example of how unprofessional we are then this surely gives ammunition.

unless they can come up with a realistic explanation that it was done to give us an edge against Barnet, in which case I could stomach any old rubbish.
Today of course would be an ideal time for whoever did it to issue a simple apology, then it woudl all be forgotten.
