Hi, sorry to post this here and I know it's prob been posted before but if anyone Could help I would really appreciate it. The message board on my iPhone has gone on to the full version and I can't find how to change it back to the phone version. I'm sure I've had this problem before and have sorted it, I just can't find the little option (at the bottom of the page?) to change it back!

Help please? Thanks in advance

The one time it happened to me i had to clear the internet history on the phone and it went back. I think the cookies on the phone are what tell it to use the mobile or full version and clearing them resets it.

Go to Settings > Safari and first try using the "Clear Cookies and Data" option, if that doesnt do it use the "Clear History" one as well.

ok, on the latest version of ios. you can do this:
(this is completely untested, it just looks like it will work)
Settings
Safari
Advanced (it's the last option on the list)
Website Data
Find www.thecfss in the list
click edit (top right)
click the delete button on the website name.

That should, in theory, just remove the settings for here.

No reason why that shouldnt work i dont think....what i mentioned just removes all the saved data whereas your version, handily, just removes the stuff for this site and preserves all the other information you have stored.

On an iphone which i think you were using you can go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data you will see a list of various website stuff. Press Edit and then go through looking for stuff related to this site and remove them. Should also resolve it but you will keep all the other stuff you lost this time.

Not sure if its possible to add a "Mobile Site" option to the drop down in the bottom left corner which currently just lists "IP Board" as an option. I believe this is the theme choice for the site and other boards i've used have a option for the mobile site in that drop down.

Ta JB, link would be the easiest, but thanks for the settings fix (yes, iPhone) I'm sure that will come in useful on other sites
