from the horse's mouth.....5% of any profit. I'm normally ahead of you on the 'sceptical' monitor but in this case I'm convinced.
I suppose the total fee paid so far by Hull to CFC might now be more than the £1.3m, if we received summat for Hull's promotion as we did from Burnley for Tendayi. It's not summat Ashley would have publicised but it might have happened.

Yes, excessive but at least he is an experienced, long standing Premier League defender that would probably still get in the Man U team. Far worse options than him such as Leicester demanding £40m for Danny Drinkwater who basically looked ok in the championship season because he stood next to Kante a lot and lumped it into space for Vardy to chase!

Presumably, the FA would apportion a value to any 'make-weight' player and calculate sell-ons due accordingly?

Problem is though, if Hull and Swansea come to a gentleman's agreement to lower the declared price, (which would be convenient if Falkirk are due a sell on Kingsley also), we have to argue otherwise with little evidence to support anything else.

Kingsley played against us at Yeovil and looked poor.

Good point, but wasn't that reported as substantially less than the reported Swansea bid? And would that be dislosed to us, without going through an appeal process (costly?) if we were unhappy with the declared figures?

Yes it was a lot less, you'd hope the FA/EFL have a mechanism in place for valuing both players in deals like this, but I won't hold my breath

some will be used to reduce the reliance on DA and some will go towards loan repayments (again, presumably DA is at the front of the queue?)
