He wasn’t much worse than Nelson who partnered him but because he showed some passion he’s remembered fondly.

If Whitmore had shown some passion in the second half of our relegation season we might have stood more of a chance of staying in the football league , those performances against Grimsby , Vale and Forest Green were unforgivable and that goes for all the other players who played aswell!!

What’s the point

Presume you deem it pointless as both sides have never been in the efl

Shame there are no odds available on the game. Will check again in the morning and lump on Gateshead.

A final parting shot across our bows.

"To protect the integrity of the league", that has to go down as an all time classic.

Why couldn't they play Aldershot on the Thursday and not inconvenience us?

Maybe the ridiculous early KO on Saturday deems mot enough rest period but if so when's Halifax going to play the knuckledraggers?

The league use the term “protect the integrity of the competition”. They would have played Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday then Saturday lunchtime so presumably someone has decided it isn’t fair to play until 9:35/9:40pm then play Saturday lunch when Gateshead have something to play for it it’s fine for us to go to Wealdstone on Saturday then Gateshead Monday!!

I presumed the rest period bit but then you’ve got Truro playing last night and tonight.

Perhaps within the National League body all divisions have integrity but some have more integrity than others.

I just hope when we've waved goodbye to this ??competition??? somebody from town spills the beans over NL mismanagement.
