Still got some big teams and followings to come Preston, Bristol City etc
Sadly the Preston game is midweek which could knock as many as 1000 off the attendance. Coventry will bring a good following as will Doncaster and also Port Vale and maybe MK Dons if their good form continues. P'boro on Boxing Day should be a +7000 crowd with decent travelling support and a larger than average home attendance due to the festive ritual of going to a game, less so Walsall and Crewe. Bristol City could well sell out the away section with the East Stand add on for the last game if they have a promotion party or title to play for.
On the downside we can expect very minimal away for support from Fleetwood, Gillingham, Orient and certainly Crawley now it's a midweek game with also a reduced home gate.
I think the 7000 figure is achievable but won't be beaten by too much, the Bradford gate for example was at least 750 less than I expected given their dissapointing following. Ultimately to get well over the 7000 figure we may need to be in with a sniff of the play-offs right until the seasons end. Mid table "mediocrity" (that's not to say we are mediocre, it's just an analogy) is something I think we would probably all have accepted at the start of the season, but that doesn't bring in the floating voters!

For some reason, I can't think why, I had the game there the other week in my head as a league game!
