Good read, thanks Graham, you have really changed things round and made DT readable again for Spireite coverage.

That's very kind, thanks. Also thanks to everyone who didn't point out I'd completely forgotten about Jack McKay.

Once we're mathematically safe, yes, 3 more points required first.

Not sure I agree with ringing the changes this early. 5 games to go, leave the trials till last couple of games. I was going to go to Dover next week but not sure I am prepared to put myself out to watch the reserves...

I think it would make more sense to drop one or two in per game but keep the momentum we've built recently 5 or 6 changes seems a bit much, that said who am I to argue with Sheridan given the positive U-turn he's taken us on since his return

Has he specifically said he will make 6 changes or more for the Dover game or has he inferred that he will give a good number of players one or two games before the end of the season?

Shez don't like losing, when we win he thinks we should have done better, he wants to finish as high as possible with the team having a winning mentality, I think any changes he makes will be balanced out. There is no way JS will take a team to Dover not believing we will win.

Surely letting the squad players get a game simply because they've all trained well is a wasted opportunity. I'd have thought playing the prominent reserve lads would be more beneficial.

Don't forget playing a weakened team isn't really playing fair for those fighting relegation.
God I hate this league.

VIDEO: The tribute paid to Kevin Randall.

A lovely moment, was glad to be there for it. What a contribution he made to the club's history.

He was a goalscorer, an outstanding coach, a footballing dad, a mentor and a Chesterfield FC legend.
