Apologies if posted elsewhere, but can't see anything. I don't know if anyone else was puzzled as to the identity of the track suited team at the Walsall match. Per the OS, there is an interview with Gordon Hill, the ex Man Utd and Derby winger. He has a development school in Florida and has brought a team of kids over to 'learn about the game over here'. There is talk of finding players for clubs like us.....

I can never take Gordon Hill seriously ever since I read Eamon Dunphy's book on the trials of being a professional player, and his chapter almost entirely devoted to the innocence (dimness?) of said G Hill whilst they were both at Millwall.

I thought we'd signed up the Wealdstone Raider for a minute.

Didn't Gordon Hill score a rate volley in Cross Street end circa 1976 playing for 'Wall ?

2-2 Draw I recall

Dema , Stuart , Phil Tooley or Dalekpete will doubtless confirm

It would appear it's died a death, no word since in over a year
