What the Yeovil chairman has said is spot on. Clubs will vote in self interest

Of course clubs will do that. But when he says: "I think we should be voting for what’s right for all clubs and the integrity of the league in general.”
I think he means as long as it's also favourable for Yeovil.
The NL can't make a decision that all clubs would say is right. To play a game of prediction based on points per game wouldn't achieve that. Voiding is harsh on some but treats all alike. Playing season out looks a non starter and raises issues of its own.

He says what clubs should be doing and what they will do. Whatever is decided some will lose out some will gain.

Not here no. The decision should be made and that's it.

I don't agree. There is no point in having a vote now.

Until it is known when football can start again, we won't know what the most sensible options are. For example, if we are not going to get any football until jan 15 2021, then it would make sense to have a couple of warm up games and then finish off this season. Otherwise next season will be as useless and lost as this one.

How would you deal with players being out of contact ?

Should club just carry on paying them and denying them to right to move clubs indefinitely ?

Players out of contract should be able to please themselves.

Summat else you might wanna focus on, 'Greenie' (Ibiza Greenie, by the way?): it's the twenty fifth anniversary of our '95 Wembley promotion in the next few weeks.

Before which we comfortably despatched some nondescript nobodies from North Notts, if I remember correctly.

Worth a mention, pal?

If we have to play games after the 30th June and we end up needing points I'd say we're in a dire situation.

I think a few opinions would change if we were in a relegation spot and loanees not available
God I hate this league.

I can't see that happening but all clubs would be in the same boat. There'd be lots of triallists available that's for sure...

Imo it is sick that there is even an issue about if and how the season should finish now.

I’d imagine every business is evaluating what they are going to do in the short term- football being just one of them.
Of course they will have to negotiate how to end the season- for the sake of the businesses, sponsorship, contracts, fans etc etc

Doesn’t mean anyone is not taking the Corona flu lightly though
