Warfey,it was obvious that things were troubling him off the field and that he couldn't leave it separate to his job. I don't know what problems he had and neither do I want to, but I would have kept him and converted him to a winger/ wide midfield player who can help out at the back.
I hope he gets a contract at a decent club and he enjoys the rest of his career. I'm sure if he comes back he'll be welcomed by us all. Thanks for memories Jeff.

I don’t think anyone is calling him, just saying he’d dropped off this season and it’s probably the right thing for club and player.

He's 28 so probably a bit late in the day to be converting players plus as it stands we have Mandeville, Dobra, Berry, Colclough, Drummond it seems and potentially Jacobs to play on the right wing.....at one point to we get to the point of needing to use a converted full back?

Clements probably the only slight surprise on the outgoing list. Although I'm not too disappointed by that.

No real surprise in the extensions and both seem like good extensions to me.

Palmer already being contracted for next season was news to me. Also on that list..I hope Cook isn't taking a wage with that contract?

No real surprises there - if Connor Cook isn’t one of the 22 outfield players in the squad limit, I make it 18 players under contract, so likely 4 more coming in

That’s one word for it. Particularly when you compare his ability to the 4 young lads released. Interesting he had a contract already for 24/25!!
