Well, no doubt he will turn his attentions to another player now.

But, isn't it a "rolling year" and, as such, there is always a year left on his contract?

I'd have thought it could have been terminated as quickly as the guy could leave to another team (which I can't see happening). Moondog will know.

It would seem that the professional opinion of DD is somewhat different to yours.

But hey! why should anyone value the thoughts of the management at CFC,Wigan Athletic and Portsmouth when we can listen to you ?

The hatred for him is odd but then so is the poster.

What? Because I point out that he's rubbish while people like you cream over him?

I don't recall ever seeing a single person 'cream' over him to be honest (Great use of a dairy product by the way, gives us an insight into your maturity). I do see a lot of people saying he's a decent player who does a decent job all the while being played out of position. For someone who you describe as rubbish, he's making a decent fist of the professional game.

Now the Flores loan is done wouldn't it be great if the Donohue deal fell through!

Wigan. No shock if Kellet heads to Chesterfield too. Possibly Perkins. Caldwell getting the band back together.

One out and three in (possibly). I'd settle for that

Is that the same Kellet that signed for Man U on loan out the blue from Bolton?

Sounds like Kellett would be a decent player for us to sign. Left back.

Would take Kellet and would love us to take a punt on Gary Roberts for a year with a club option for another year.

Likewise for Kellet, naturally a left wingback too.

Dion a decent player with potential. good luck too him.

Hopefully we can bring more in, agree with a few posters lets give GC a few more games before we go into meltdown, there have been some positive signs, pretty sure we would not have lost last week if 11 v 11 .

As allways looking forward to the game, just hope for a win

Loanee in, contract player out. The cost cutting continues.

Hopefully it leaves enough room to actually bring in a wide player. The lack of width and pace on the wings is going to kill us if we don't sign anyone there.

I doubt there will be any wage saving

Is that what we class as a positive sign nowadays? Are things that bad?

Report on Flores from a contact in the NW: decent left foot, did quite well for Blackpool last season but needs to improve on the defensive side of his game. Compared him to Olly Banks.

Oh, and by the way; I'm hearing Caldwell's reasons for not playing him when Wigan manager are, well, interesting...
