I have tried cutting and pasting a photo when editing my signature but it doesn't seem to do anything. When I press the insert image icon a box opens with 2 lines one white and one dark blue and thats it, I can't seem to do anything with them - anyone any ideas?

Use copydex, and it'll peel off more easily when you want to log off.
But seriously...
To get my picture in along the bottom I navigated to My Settings - profile - change signature, which I assume you've found; having previously uploaded the imageI wanted to photobucket I copied the image code in. I think you have to keep the image on such as photobucket or flickr, and link to it.

Cheers Stu, I'll give it a go.

I uploaded the image to photobucket and then edited my signature but it says URLs not allowed, I'm assuming that is the http:/ bit of the link? Anyway it didn't let me link it to the photo - any ideas?

I am following this with great interest, no idea how to do it myself but would love to know how it is done.
Fight for your opinions, but do not believe that they contain the whole truth, or the only truth.

From memory, the hosting site gives you four options as to how you can save it; use the bottom one ("IMG Code") Left click on the code and it should copy it for you.
My entry looks like this:

with extra square brackets at the front - I've had to leave these off, or it'd just put the pic up!
