Think I'll keep it because it has cricket, boxing, snooker, Aussie Rules and other top sports. But glad dont have to change ko times in the NL.

KO times will change in EFL and if my understanding of the new deal is right, likely more often given the number of games being televised.

New LG and John Squires album...

Gotta say, I expected better... I find it boring tbh...

I was hoping for better after the two singles. Still a good listen but was expecting anthem after anthem!

Currently looping Gerry Cinnamon live at Hamden Park. Some serious goosebumps at times with this album.

Rotherham, probably the closest to us size wise n the Championship have an average of 10,700 this season from a capacity of 12,000. They typically allocate 2,500 to away fans.

Appreciate they are struggling, but if we did anything similar it’d still be touch and go as to whether it’d justify the expenditure. To coin a phrase we’d have to be sure we would ‘build it and they will come’.

Last season Luton had an average of 9,800, so even a successful club who gets promoted has a finite capacity. I suspect for us a 10k (ish) capacity would be plenty for most of the time.

For games where there’s high demand, some people may have to miss out, or they could buy a season ticket. Even if they were to sell out of season tickets, it’s not uncommon for clubs to have waiting lists for season tickets (Arsenal apparently have a waiting list of over 10 years). Having limited availability could also stimulate demand and increase season ticket sales.

I wouldn’t wholly discount it, but it seems quite a long way off for any capacity increases.

Very good post, there would be a massive cost to increase seat volume and no guarantee of the. Being used long term.

As a fan who can’t get every week, I’d happily miss many games because I can’t get a ticket, would show how well we were doing.

10k is about right for our club. Just need to make the most of every seat in the ground

Looks like they got free pies on Saturday as well!

As it stands it would need a load of work underneath to make it work in that way. Not been in there for a while but it would need toilets and bar at both ends to allow it to be gated off underneath and have everything both sets of fans would need.

I understand there would be work to do, but if the above is possible surely it’s an option. We know we lose loads of seats on the East due to where the segregation has to go (I believe for numbers in the home East part).
Have some way of doing similar on the North but with better use of space allowing to get more people in, with the option of giving an away team the whole North (in the cup)
