Knowing about it and defending it are two different things though.
Presume the analysis will be there of other teams for Cook to look at, but I dioubt he would.
Interesting read I thought.

I actually met an American chap who was contributor to this US origin website earlier this year in Argentina, we've remained friends on Facebook.
I'll ask him if he knows the girl that wrote it.
They've been doing this for American Football for quite a while and have now branched out into "soccer"

On the subject of tactics, it’s worth seeing the Bromley v Gateshead highlights from the weekend. I was interested to see how both teams play, especially after the reference to Gateshead being the ‘best footballing side in the league’ per TNT Sport.
The Heed certainly thought that too it seems. Early into the second half their defenders pick up the ball from the back, and start walking around with it, as if they’re Beckenbauer or John Stones trying to inter pass through the Bromley attackers, succeeding only in eventually passing to Cheek on the edge of the box, who promptly slots home. Why do teams at this level think they can do this?
Bromley then conceded the kind of goal we concede, straight down the middle over the top ball leading to a one on one. As did Gateshead when conceding the final goal.

Not sure I like this. It seems like a blueprint of how to beat Chesterfield. Wrexham and County didn't have their game plan posted nationally did they ?
Don’t you think all this was always at the fingertips of every opponent we face, as we will have on them?
