Allowing folk to sit where they want is fine where demand doesnt exceed supply.

York is supposedly a sell out, a large number will have tickets allocated with friends and family - People sitting where they want potentially stops this from happening (unless you make a conscious effort to get to the ground as early as possible).

He got us playing good football with a Caldwell team and picking up points. He lost Hird & Evo for the season but didn't sign experienced defenders to replace them, instead he brought in several kids who weren't up for the battle.
His signings, his decisions, his tactics got us relegated. Blame the Sheffield Mafia all you want for everything else regarding our demise but JL as a manager was a complete and utter failure I'm afraid.

I think this is slightly harsh on JL tbf - he inherited a poor squad with the exception of Hird and Evatt. He somehow managed to get us playing, then lost both his centre backs and was forced into swapping the keeper multiple times.

Re January transfers he was never going to be able to replace what he'd lost to injury with the budget available.

Tug of war between Derby & Rotherham last I heard.

Rotherham pulled out (was taking too long) and Derby in for Smith (Wednesday) and Waghorn apparently..

I'm saying, and I don't think it's too complicated, that as we play with one striker we can neither afford or manage two strikers on big money.

I have no knowledge about Dallas. But I'd not be surprised if we'd either bought Grigg because we couldn't get him, or Dallas got cold feet when he realised he wouldn't automatically be leading the line. A lot of people might not like it, but the amount of game time Quigs is getting should be a pointer as to PC's intentions for the start of the season.

Posters on here seem to think we've got money to burn. We should urine this league with the Squad we've already got.

Both were offered terms with the same deadline.. Grigg signed his, Dallas didnt.. whether that’s still on the table, no idea.
