I don't know about that particular instance you're talking about but to say it never happened with any player is wrong. -

I remember that he was the only representative for us at the appeal when the FA wanted the points deduction looking at again. Even though we were playing that night, Banks took the reins whilst NL still went to (Elland road?) argue our case and won.
