I've just voted for my player of the year on the main website but there must be a flaw with the system because it lets you vote as many times as you want which surely can't be right? As anybody else noticed this?

Good call mate, my favourite player. I would love for him to be found a place training the young lads because his enthusiasm alone would be a good trait to pass on, let alone his reading of the game.

One of the few players who haven't been rested/rotated. I agree his form has dipped.

Went for Dobra, from a fairly long list of possibles. Chose him because he has matured so much, in terms of his stamina and his temperament, as well as consistently delivering end product this season. Most others have had minor dips in form for short periods (not a criticism) or spells out injured, but Armando, for me, in his 40 (?) appearances has rarely, if at all, dropped below a 7/10. Think back to what we were told pre-season about Armando having returned to training, of his own volition, before the rest of the squad. Then think about his contribution for the 100th goal of the season and that sums him up for me this year. He has worked so hard and delivered, and at 22 still (just), there is a lot more to come. Cook takes a lot of credit here as well, as he seems to be a source of inspiration.

After considering several possibilities, I also went for Dobra. I think a lot of his defensive work is sometimes taken for granted, and he consistently drives directly into the opposition penalty box at every opportunity. You can see how wary of him opponents are by the way they put two or three players on him, and constantly try to disrupt his runs by fouling him. Other players admittedly have more goals or assists, but I always feel we have more chance of winning when he's on the field.

I chose Will Grigg, because of his overall contribution to our successful season. His goals are just part of it, because his movement in the box to create space for others, has been top notch. His hold up play, which he isn't known for, has been excellent. I could have gone for Tyrer, Grimes, Jones, Naylor, and most of the attacking midfielders, but I just thought, for me, Grigg edged it by a whisker.

He’s in my top 5

Naylor - basically above the level he’s been playing at.
Grigg - goals.
Mandeville - goals and assists
Tyrer - stability between the sticks.
Jones - doesn’t play in losing teams (last few weeks excepted when they’ve packed in)

i’ve chosen tyrer, he’s come in, improved massively, looked confident and able between the sticks and most of all i think he’s really taken to the club and its supporters. seen him in many away games interacting with the fans after the game and riling them up during it. i think he’d be a big loss if he didn’t come back next year
all town aren't we?
