We're off to France on Thursday but a lot further south down near Nimes to our usual spot where the weather as usual looks hot!! Just the 2 days of driving and 800 miles to get there.

Brittany is one of the few parts i've not been to, closest being when we were in Arromanches a couple of years ago which was very good.

We've been to Brittany loads of times, but can't comment on Morlaix as we've always gone further south - Carnac, Nevez and various places in between.

If we could get decent weather we'd go every year.

Are you going on the Roscoff ferry, or slogging it across from Calais?

Been to Concarneau. Got told off in a restaurant when I apologized for not being able to speak French. He put me in my place by telling me that he doesn't speak French and that he speaks Breton. We then had a good talk and it transpires that the Bretons hate the French for capitulating in WW2. I did find the Bretons a far nicer people than the French. I found it to be like a country on it's own

Went to Arromanches a few years ago, absolutely fascinating for anyone interested in the D day landings. Got there after doing a bit of a tour round the country after a week in the Alps, via Annecy (and a nip over to Geneva), Beaune and Epernay for the booze. Lovely holiday, one of the best I've had I'd say.

We're at Beaune on the way back for a stop over.
