And Billy Sharp.

Not been mentioned to be. Madden, Macfazdean, Brown & a Fox who doesn't play in the box are the ones I'd heard.

Maybe, Rafferty.

But, I wish Jeff King all the best for the future.

Madden pretty much confirmed, then.

Good player, bit of a sh**house, scored plenty for Stockport. Any concerns over the average age of our squad?

More subs this time isn’t, Cook should use the squad more. The players look shattered towards the end of last season.

Got to agree but wage demands will be the biggest factor.
God I hate this league.

Given we can only register 22 players (plus GKs) over 21 due to EFL rules seems an interesting decision to sign a 34 year old?

I trust cookie though, Jones was about that age when he signed is always great when he plays

What about if it's a Quigley/Madden front two tactic?
Whenever we saw Madden playing against us he's always had a fellow striker with him.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Strangely, I’ve always thought of Madden as a player who likes to get involved from deeper. A player that can set things up and finish them off. As such, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him playing central in our “three” rather than the lone striker. In such a role he could collect from deep and then look for a lay off from the likes of Joe Quigley.

I might be wrong in that respect but I know I’m not wrong in saying that if it does happen you certainly won’t be changing allegiance.

I think he plays quite deep, wouldn’t be surprised to see him behind the striker but it won’t be in a typical 2, it’ll be in our usual formation
