I think people seem to be forgetting that Ollie Banks hasn't got a deal for next season yet. CC may be added to the ranks if Banks decides his future lies elsewhere.

My understanding with Banks (and Palmer) is that they have triggered a 1 year option due to promotion/ appearances but Banks wants 2 and is considering options

None of them marquee signings if true. Aside from Byrne young developing players.

Byrne would be a cracking signing

Calvin Miller 🪄

Since signing in the summer, Miller has 26 G/A across all competitions for @FalkirkFC and is the running for PFA Scotland League 1 POTY on May 5th.

Loved Calvin Miller

Struggling to get my head round the ‘incoming’ Drummond. Seemingly playing as a central striker, only third highest scorer for Macc, in a ieague 3 tiers below where we will be next season.

In Cook we trust is my mantra though.

I’m off to see Worksop Town in the play offs at Macc next week all being well

Interesting to see how he does

Given where Ollie is at in his career and after the season he's had, I can understand his thinking. That said, I can't see him turning his back on the club and the journey he's on with us. He's not daft and neither is his dad, they both know we are all in a fortunate position.

Have Doncaster offered a two year deal? It's been suggested there are two offers depending on which league they are in.

I would love Ollie to stay. Capable of a pin point crossfield pass and more often than not is one player who is willing to have a crack at goal. He has a shot on him too. Wouldn't want him playing against us.

Good player, likes to take a shot, and I'd love him to stay.

Banks need to go so we can strengthen

At no point was it mentioned when palmer and banks signed that additional year options where available I just can’t see it for players at their age.

Yeah, doesn't float my boat, but what do I know ? I thought we were chasing the lad from Gatehead, loan player from derby Was his name Brown ? Looks a better prospect.

I’ve heard absolutely nothing on this since January when we wanted him but will ask tomorrow. I can’t see a scenario where Warne doesn’t want to take him on the pre-season tour first either so even if he does agree to come to us, I’d imagine it would be one further down the line this summer.

Why would it have been mentioned? It’s an employment contract between the player and the club. It’s private.

I don't think the details of individual contracts are ever made public, just normally the length of time.

Surely it's quite often stated that player A has signed a x year contract with the option of a further year based on y. Hardly giving too much away is it?

Clauses related to appearances/promotions are virtually never made public.

We've also not really said anything about length of contracts or fees paid for a while now much like some other clubs. Like this talk of Conn-Clarke being out of contract, i cant find anything on line to say what contract he signed when he joined them permanently. About all thats said was that they signed him for a club record fee and that was that.

Dunno. I think they all have to be male.

Speaking of Male, Harrison Male has turned down a new deal at Dorking and is a free agent now.

He looked a very capable keeper against us this season and is only 23.

Had a very good pedigree coming through the youth set up at Leeds and was captain, and capped for England at U15/16/17.

If people thought Tommy Lee was small they'd be aghast with Male

Well maybe the player didn't want his business revealing to all and sundry.
