Rumours in the Betting Shop are that Leicester are prepared to offer 400k for his services, but that could be just a rumour, I also understand that Barnsley are keen too.
Jack could be a legend for us over the next few years, but is the Board prepared to keep him and get us into League 1 ?
We shall wait and see.........

Could you imagine the air of despondency around Saltergate if Jack goes..? But with BH at the helm, can we completely rule it out..?

If rumours of an "outsider" funding Jacks wages are true, then I think we can rule out BH selling him.

How much more despondent might some seem if we keep the bloke?

Given that we are currently recruiting players to improve the squad then yes, I think we can.

Its just the local teams that worry mean more than anything like Donny, Barnsley & Sheff Wed.
We must keep him and build the team around him, Im sure he's got 3 more years in him

And there I was thinking we were bringing in a rookie wide man to cut his teeth in league football to replace another rookie wide man who's gone home after gaining FL experience whilst here. For heaven's sake, man, he watched from the stands with his mam and dad. Whilst we're probably equally guilty of applying a degree of 'spin' reminiscent of a Murali friendly strip in Sri Lanka, are we talking about the same recruitment drive..?

Sorry - you've lost me as to what that says about him. As far as any ability or usefulness to our side goes, I'll wait until I've seen him play a few times.

Might it be indicative of his age? None of us are presently in any position to comment on his usefulness to the side. Speculation as to the usefulness of, say, Colin Heath would have been similarly difficult before any of us saw him play.
That said, I remember Preston taking a skinny young unknown by the name of David Beckham on loan from Man U some years ago, so let's hope this rookie falls into a similar category (minus the penchant for wearing skirts, mind you).
