Well done to the blues for getting twelve points over chrimbo.

They may not have played well in the second half today but at least they have provided the fans with MAXIMUM points to get us back in contention.

What have the fans given in return? Nothing

It was like the kop was filled with cardboard cutouts!

Silence and no encouragement was their reward from the fans. There was a thread on 606 saying we are the best fans and loudest away! I think away we get behind the team but at home even when we were two nil up still no encouragement.

So i ask if we are the best fans away from home then surely we are the worst fans at home with no passion.

We all moan and winge but our kop used to be vibrant. Surges every so often down the kop and singing. Today all i hear is moaning winging spoilt fans who think we are arsenal.

I think the team is good but the fans dont deserve a successful team.

I agree 100% we need to get behind them more.
Wrexham fans out sung us today and they only brought 250/300

They only out sang us after their goal when virtually every home fan were biting fingernails and glove ends and hoping we would get over the finish line with little inspiration from the pitch

I think the lack of noise was down to nervousness as wrexham looked like they would score at any time.

if we play like that in the second half against a good team we will not be so lucky!!

Surely this one is very simple...i think! The reason our away support as been so good is a result of our great away form. And since our home form as been very indifferent the fans and players at home quite simply become very nervous and anxious when under any sort of pressure .Besides alot of us might not have felt like shouting our heads off after last night

To be honest for large chunks of the game you could have heard a pin drop !! The kop was silent !!
As well as seeming to be surrounded by the 'happy' people god knows why ??
Might not have been a classic but we WON come on lads about time saltergate started rocking rather than being a moaning morgue.

Think you are right, we have often been as resilient as a house made of cards at home and whe n the opposition score, folk groan and think, here we go again

The atmosphere was as already said was dire! EVEN as said at 2-0 and looking like adding a 3rd or 4th the fans where shocking and I totally agree with the team deserving much better!
We concede a goal out of knowhere and we boo and moan like crazy! (what we really needed then was a bit of vocal backing from our supporters!)

What do the town fans want?

Good call. I also think the kop has been pretty quiet in general all season.

It amazes me how the same supporters sing their heart out on away days, then do nothing at the home games.

I love the atmosphere at away games. MK Dons was fantastic!

I think the ref Deadhead killed the game today what planet was he from he made some very strange decisions, everything went to them and he just ignored most of ours,we beat yet another referee which is great ;)

I genuinely didnt think Deadman was that bad today,,, tried to let the game flow... wasnt over fussy, didnt dish out cards like confetti... few weird free kick decisions, but weve had much worse this season, and he didnt affect the result in any way... unlike his infamous Southend game.

i think Kovacs was lucky to stay on the pitch with that reckless tackle in the first half. Ok the Wrexham lad mistimed his challenge but Kovacs' was nothing more than a dangerous lunge.
