You think Cook doesn?t know what he?s doing?
Personally I?d be replacing the entire back 4. None good enough to ensure promotion next year. Grimes was exposed against the better strikers in the conference, just that there aren?t that many of them, and that challenge will only be more frequent with the step up.
I may just be mis-remembering but I feel like we actually looked more solid against the better teams and strikers than we did against the lesser lights where we thought we could defend 10 yards in to their half. I'm not saying that we don't need some added quality at the back, we do, but I think it will also be interesting to see what an adjustment in tactics might do to improve our solidity next year. We hardly looked over-run versus higher league teams in the cup, did we? -

Probably just adding up the figures Goku has put on here that he has done from the highlights videos. For what its worth i think Jacobs has been very instrumental at times this season with a lot of his good play going unnoticed by many.
For what it’s worth (not much), my hunch is that Jacob’s will be a more influential player at the higher level than he was this year. That said, I’d love Banks to be in the squad next year too but we probably have to accept that we can’t keep everybody and add the type of quality that we all want so he may be the sacrificial lamb here -

I'm not here to be Bonnyman's white knight, and I think we all know his thoughts on Grigg, but "best striker" is subjective. Best for what? In our system, for what the manager wants, probably Grigg by a mile. The most prolific this season is McCallum. Not everything has to be black and white or else you end up like those tedious man-babies on twitter who form their identities around arguing about Messi and Ronaldo
