Hope both Sutton and FGR both come down, that removes two horrible travelling distance clubs who have little to no support in away of visiting fans.

Looking at our league I wouldn’t begrudge Aldershot coming up with us, they are a decent club and we have a very good record against them.

Chesterfield to Colchester, is a much worse trip than to FGR ... and Colchester have been flirting with relegation for a few yrs now, it's about time they had a taste of this league...
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Chesterfield to Forest Green Rovers 144miles
Chesterfield to Aldershot Town 174 miles

At least Aldershot ground is in the town so you can eat drink before the match. FGR up a lane in the middle of nowhere, akin to Heath getting a football league team, absolutely no infrastructure at all.

I think they've got people in living memory of their last time down here between 1990 & 1992.

Whoever we end up playing in L2 I doubt we will have as many trips darn sarth where the several London based clubs in the NL only have to catch the tube to get to their next away match.

To say ‘them’ as though it was the club themselves and not Hearn, Craig etc is as stupid as saying we are as crooked now as we were then under Brown or Carson.
All totally different clubs now- by all means turn yout random grudge to the owners but you must realise the stupidity of these grudges?

Well in an ideal world I'd prefer Grimsby to get relegated for obvious reasons, it's never a pleasure. If not, then Colchester over FGR the way FGR are going they could be in total disarray next season and more importantly Stroud is OK for pre match jollies.
Oh I've already relegated Sutton I'm pig sick of trips to South London.

It's as if you don't remember the vitriol that was thrown our (the fans) way when we visited Brighton & Cardiff by their fans when the news broke. I do, it was not Brown they targeted (quite physically by Cardiff) but us fans, so take your 'It wasn't the club' bollux and stuff it CPS.

At some of the clubs participating in the witch hunt against us it was the owners who were the drivers at other clubs it was also the fans. Those to clubs you just mentioned were particularly vile and it wasn’t just banter.

Cardiff and Brighton were hair raising. Orient was fun in the pub, especially when Brown came in.

I do remember very vividly. I also remember many Town fans treating Brown as a hero at Orient in particular - so as you so eloquently put it - stuff that

Was delighted when Br*ghton got an absolute stuffing away in Rome this week. To me these are as bad as the Stags, Blunts etc

The “Brown” stuff was hitting the fan then and he had a select few around him, he certainly wasn’t being fawned over that’s for sure.

Slightly off topic but I’d like to see Alfreton get back to the National League via the playoffs
Title looks a done deal but hopefully they can make it

If Alfreton don’t come up hopefully Chester do, they’ve suffered enough time in that league.
