The colours aren't neccessarily going to be as they appear on the mock up though Merc.

Dunno if my memory is going, but wasn't the sleeve white on the classic G+W??

I dont think it was, but memory fades..

Sorry, but I thought the green and white one is awful. I've gone for our traditional away colours.

not sure you can say we have traditional away colours now

late 80s was red
early 90s was yellow
then we had the green and white
and then late 90s had red or white
then since then we've had green, grey, red, white, gold, white and light blue stripes and several others!

I was told at the match on saturday that the voting is a sham and they have already ordered the black kit. Not being a cynic I didn't believe it, but I'm not so sure now having seen the designs. I think the voting should be scrutinised by the Electoral Reform Society to ensure that everything is above board - after all we don't want to see the club's good name dragged through the mud again after the nepotism scandal re the club's IT contracts.

Back to topic, the green one is my choice, looks very good and distinctive; would sell hundreds. Don't like the other two and certainly wouldn't buy either.

If nobody on here votes for the black kit (personally I don't like it anyway) and it wins then you may be on to something ;)

This is true. I do think we look best in a reverse of our home colours though and most of our away kits end up being horrible. Keep it simple and keep it true :D

one point of interest is why is the green and white one the only one with the sponsors logo on it?..Maybe to make it look more garish than the other two and put folk off?

i was thinking the same

It would be intersting to see the results if someone could be bothered to work out what colour away shirt we've had for the most number of seasons. Although, I hope no one does that for the home shirts, as I'm sure it could well be Red!!

I think it could be because it may look a bit silly with a horizontal green stripe across it without a logo on it, whereas the other two have a plain main body.

I've started a poll in the 'Polls' section, just to give us on here an idea of how voting is going.

I've voted Green/White.

I don't like the neck of the black kit and besides with this kit you won't be able to see the shirkers... the white one will show those up that aren't putting a full blooded shift in

Having posted the link myself, i'd already checked, I could have said 'Wednesday-like Blue and White stripes' which we had for 16 years!

I was just about to mention those! That should be a lesson to any of you wanting stripes! No way should we have anything to do with vertical strips when we have both dedahs over the border that wear these. I'd much sooner leave them too it and don’t want to look anything like them no matter what the colour. Ugh, I feel dirty now even thinking about it!
