I wonder what the costs will be. An entirely new pitch can't be cheap

I was going to mention crowd funding, but then thought better of it 😁.

Yep it’s close but would need so much work done to get it up to scratch - can never see it happening- I’d imagine Dulwich Hamlet a better option

Doubt that ground would meet the EFL entry criteria. Whether they would waive those for a few games who knows. Hope not, Clarevoyant would be apoplectic.

Dulwich would be way more ready than Crystal Palace which has been neglected for over a decade.

Perhaps it is but it ain’t big enough and doesn’t meet the EFL’s standards

They have now. They didn't before getting promoted to the FL. As the rules dictate they have to have a grass pitch in the FL they had to rip up the plastic and replace it. They would be allowed to put back the plastic pitch, at great expense, now they've been relegated back down to the NL.

They could play at Sutton. That would be amusing. Millwall would be nearer.

I was going to joke they have borrowed Bromley’s plastic pitch but I have read somewhere they are keeping the grass.

On to the 'grand final'. Credit to NL on this occasion they appear to have learnt their lesson from last year's shambles of appointing a star struck NL ref, by appointing an experienced FL ref.

But what message does that send, doesn't the NL list have an upcoming star(Ok). Doesn’t the NL trust any of their officials to cope with these two sh..house teams in their showcase final. Were the powers that be that embarrassed by last years incumbents early game changing cock ups.

Whatever an embarrassing moment for this years NL refs, but well earned.

As I said before we’ll be seeing a few of the NL’s ‘up and coming stars’ of last season, next season no doubt.
