However Allen has tolerated, and continues to tolerate people whose behaviour is covered on the 'Questionable Enterprise' thread.

Amongst many others.

Meanwhile no litigation has been pursued against the DT which leads me to assume they simply told the truth.

Yet it's the fans and media, in some cases the national media, who're somehow to blame.

I don't know if Allen genuinely believes that, it's a line peddled by those under scrutiny or it's just denial from someone too arrogant to accept he's wrong.

Perhaps all three.

But until the Chairman realises there's a major problem at the Proact and his appointments must bear significant responsibility, the negativity he speaks of will only get worse.

Just an observation on the DT's coverage and its impact on gates last season, the first PPP article was published on 21/04/16, we played Doncaster at home on 23/04/16 and Bury on 08/05/16.
