Not that I think it'll happen (or even come close to happening) but if we draw Saturday and then lose 6 on the spin, and they win 6 on the spin the GD gap will close by at least 12 goals, maybe more.

About time someone said it, fed up of people that have no idea about football blabbing about ‘our insane GD , that’s a point in itself ’ errrr dumb *****. If by some miracle we end up level with Barnet or Bromley at the end of the season, we most likely will be second on GD

So the headlines from a Town point of view - nowt's changed.

Barnet can still reach ninety five points (though Bromley only ninety three).

Meaning four wins from ten to confirm. Or multiplications of...

No one else will make it to 83 points.

Obviously depends on results but in my scenario we could still be higher than Barnet on GD. Was a generic observation.

Errr…I said in the next six games.

I’m fed up with people with no idea about reading comprehension.

Anyone else settle for 4 points from the home games upcoming, or should we be looking for 6? Fylde looks a banana skin as they either win heavily or lose heavily. If we don’t beat Oxford then we don’t deserve to go up.

No, six points please and if we finish top we deserve to go up irrespective of any single result

A full 6pts for me. That would put us on 91 and even though it wouldn't be mathematical I can't see anybody else beating that points total.

Enough.

If someone had glimpsed us the current league table six months ago we'd have gone ga-ga with glee.

Yes we've had a blip, as happens to even the best sides over the course of a season. And it's beyond frustrating not to've won promotion as absurdly early as many of us hoped.

But every shred of logic and sense and evidence tells us we'll still be the first outfit in the country to confirm it.

At which point we'll have to remove all sharp objects, loose garments, shoe laces and belts from the vicity of 'SAD'...

Tidying yesterday and saw a report after one of the FACup games and being “the new Juggernaut of Non league football”…..think it was in “The Guardian” (you’ll like that 😂) …we were a whole ……2 points clear.

Or let him have them and see what happens? 🤷‍♂️
