Biggest injustice since 97. VAR needs binning, goal line technology only, the rest is ruining the game. I never watch any football other than Town but as I had nothing on after getting back from the Town Hall stuck the match on whilst preparing dinner. Really feel for those Cov fans and players to have a moment like that taken away for the width of a toe nail. Hope they never bring that crap into the EFL.
  2. Streaming 2024/25

    18 April 2024 - 05:21 PM

I’ll admit I was against streaming all matches as I thought it would adversely affect attendances. Looks like I was wrong and I have watched a lot of away games this season via NLTV and the trusty VPN.

However I’m totally confused about next season and the deal with Sky. I don’t have a Sky Sports subscription and have no interest in getting one as the only sport I watch is CFC, no interest in the PL or other teams.

I can’t find any info online about how picking a match to watch will work. For example if the game is one being broadcast as one of the featured games will I have to have a SS sub to watch it? If it’s not one of the chosen games does that mean we can’t watch at all or will it still be like the NLTV and be able to watch with a VPN?

Does anyone have any info about how this will work? Cheers.

  4. Terrible Defending 80-81 Style

    12 September 2023 - 01:41 PM

I know our current lot get stick for some bad defending, much of it deserved. However found this gem on YouTube which just shows that even a Town side revered as one of the greatest by fans who have been going longer than me weren’t infallible when it comes to crap defending.

  5. Towns 3Rd Goal V Shots

    04 September 2023 - 12:38 AM

I watched the game on stream and I've now just watched the highlights. Something seemed off with Naylors goal as first of all Phil Tooley initially thought it was an OG then that Grigg had scored. So I slowed down the highlights and zoomed in and watched it numerous times. To me it looked like Naylor never touched the ball at all and although it's hard to see it's either a Grigg goal or an OG. Would be interested to see what others think but to me it looks like Naylor has pulled a crafty one and claimed most likely what was an OG as I'm sure if Grigg had touched it he'd be claiming it.

    Calm down Trev
I've sent an e-mail asking all those questions particularly 'How are they going to accommodate all the LC holders if the Sheff Utd tickets sell out?' I've also reminded them of contractual obligations and position regarding fair trading. I await their reply. Clearly they're going to try and bluff their way through this.
