Just my opinion but although he didn't win motm I thought Darikwa was brilliant today, nothing against the fans choice but to me Darikwa was class.

Couldn't agree more, thought it was his best performance in a town shirt by a country mile.

Darikwa was a giant out there today, defended everything (even sometimes having to go to the other side of the box)& was always willing to push forward & get into the Fleetwood penalty area. I can't believe he wasn't voted 'man of the match'. I just hope there weren't any championship club scouts out there today or he could be gone in the summer.

Hird says Tendayi has been our most consistent player over the last two seasons.

I make him player of the season so far this term.

If he keeps it up he could become our third big money sale by the end of the season.

Yet, I still feel he would be more effective further forward where he wouldn't have to over worry about his defensive duties and, if Ryan doesn't re-sign, I maintain he would be my choice to partner Morsy - that's if he doesn't become our fourth big money sale in the summer.

Worrying isn't it?

On Peak FM Darikwa was their cosmetic repair solution man of the match. Well deserved, he terrorised their defence and was instrumental in many of our attacks. Nailed on MOTM.

Darikwa must be played at right back. His defensive capabilities are fantastic and his pace in our attacking play adds strength to the wing. Final ball isn't his strength but as an attacking fullback who has strong defensive capabilities, he certainly has potential to be one of the best.

Also a candidate for player of the season for me

Ariyibi was the right choice for me, set two goals up had a real influence on the game. It was great to see a player attacking the wings and actually looking up and picking someone out to cross to, not just swing the ball into the box

Yes, importantly he took a moment. You would think its not difficult but many players at this level do not take that moment (it is only a moment!) to find a player. Football and setting up scoring chances looks simple when they do it.

Agreed. There were a good few candidates yesterday for MOTM which is a good sign.

Darikwa was quality and does have games like that. His weakness is his consistency levels Imo, cant agree with Sam Hird on this

 Tendayi had a great game.Do that consistently, improve his crossing of the ball and the see the interest in him return. If he did leave we'd be looking for Talbot as a replacement.
Many a good tune

Darikwa looked up and picked O'Shea out but Jay got it wrong - you get no plaudits for an assist for a miss only assists for a goal - never got my head round that one!
