Does that tell us anything about Williams and Grimes too? Starting 11 players?

I genuinely believe that in the theoretical situation that Cook was appointed manager of any L2 club next season, he'd take Grimes with him. Ergo, he'll be the first name on our team sheet again next season. Simply put, Cook thinks Grimes is a very, very, good player.

Back off to Fleetwood isn't he?

Wasn't he the first one in the ref's face when King got sent off? 'Orrible little sod. The forrad version of Osborne. He'd have to grow on me if we sign him.

And today we witness reports they're planning to traffick asylum seekers to Iraq.

Yup, you read that right - Iraq.

Perhaps loadsa Iraqis will claim three grand a-piece for voluntary deportation and simply stay where they are.

In fact at any other time you'd think this some sorta April fools style gag.

Yet with a Tory party intent on challenging not just 'Reflux' but the EDL for the 'We're only happy when someone we hate are suffering' vote, it's not been denied.

A Labour Party already benefitting from such a lurch to the rancid Right rub their hands together even more...

Shouldn't you be changing your name to 'The Earl of Galloway'?

I agree with you about Osborne. Yes, he’s in the ref’s ear from kick off but he is a decent footballer, dictates play, and as captain a leader on the pitch.

He'd be in my team of the year. The reason he plays at such a relatively low level is 'cos he has no recovery pace. Young upstarts can burst past him and he's left for dead. Hence the 'dark arts' to stop them - and his teammates have to compensate for him. I assume he had no pace even as a young 'un.

Tory Andy Street beaten by Labour's Richard Parker for WM mayor.

Despite also distancing himself from his party and it's leader.

Sunak is finished. The only question is will the Right replace him before or after an election hammering...

....and we've got senior Tory mammoths calling for Johnson to be revived. I can't think of anything more insulting to the Electorate. 'Well yes, he's a proven liar, womaniser, buffoon, infidel, (owt else?); but apart from that................?'
