Songs that make me want to hit something/someone (in no particular order)

1. Candle in the Wind 97. By Elton John. About a woman who no-one particularly had a good word for when alive but miraculously got turned into a saint when she died. Nuff said.
2. We are the Champions - Queen
3. Simply the Best - Tina Turner
4. I will Always Love You - Whitney Houston
5. Wired for Sound - Cliff Richard. If only he'd have tripped over his roller skates in the video & broken his neck things could have been so different...
6. Wannabe - Spice Girls
7. The Phil Collins song about the homeless. Don't know the title, but someone please tell me what does that sanctimonious little **** know about being homeless?
8. Its Raining Men - The Weather Girls. As for the Geri Halliwell version, words fail me.
9. I Just Called to Say I Love You - Stevie Wonder
10. Hello - Lionel Richie.

I could go on all day but my boss is staring at me oddly.

Oh god, how could I have forgotten Mariah Carey? I feel quite violent just thinking about her.
Also that song by Kelly & Nelly - dunno what it's called, something to do with "being with my boo" (what the **** is a boo?)

I think it was jonno who counted 86 of those squealing noises in that Dilemma song. I should`ve put that in my worst ten, the thought of it makes me want to kill

Ten songs??? I could name thousands!! Here goes...

Commercialised crap - boy bands, girl bands. Too many to mention. They're all just as bad.

Any by-product of TV talent contests. Judged on their looks than their singing talent, says it all. Again too many to mention

Novelty acts - Mr Blobby, Timmy Mallet, cheeky girls, that 'snooker' song, Doctorin' The Tardis by The Timelords (I happen to know that because it was number one on my birthday! I bet Pete has the 12inch vinyl of it  )

Maddona - Like a prayer. What was she thinking!?

Anything by Cliff Richard. No explanation needed!

Anything by The Monkees. We probably wouldn't have to endure boybands these days if it weren't for them!

Bands that murder classic songs. Will Young should've been shot for slaughtering the classic Light My Fire.

I'll leave it at that!

Generally there are too many bad songs IMO to put into a top ten (mostly current songs)

but as a rule:
the songs that I can listen to don't need a music video
the songs that I can't listen to normally have a music video thats more "entertaining" on mute.... (so thats the current latinorap, jennifromtheblock hiphop and whatever you categorise "Green Day" as....)
This is my truth........ now tell me yours.
