page would not fit the bill of being a proven manager at this level, nor would he be a manager to get fans on side, these are qualities carson is looking for apparently.

Sure, but is Carson a man of his word?
These go to eleven.

can I get back to you? :ninja: being generous to the guy (dunno why) Caldwell was his 1st appointment, if he fails to learn from it, he's surely the next one to go and then attention really turns to allen, so he has to get this right.

Harry Redknapp now without a gig.

Couldn't have happened to a better man. What the football world sees in HR is absolutely beyond me.

I've read quotes from Cotterill stating that's he's turned down job offers from clubs. There's no logic at all in thinking he could be convinced to take us on.

unlikely we'll want to get into paying compo to another club, so has to be an out of work manager, cotteril is arguably the best of them available. interestingly nigel adkins not on the list this time...

Though I think Cotterill is one of the best names on the Skybet list, it's worth reading the Secret Footballer (ie Dave Kitson)'s take on him, which is one of absolute distaste and condemnation. Not that there are many people Kitson doesn't view that way.
These go to eleven.

Think Kitson was held in similar regard by many who met him ironically...

in fairness, that would be a loose reason not to appoint him compared to his record.
