How hard is it to get a football off the ground!!!!
That is our weakest position RB. Even when DT is fit.
But I guess that shows how far we've come on.

If Tendayi could beat a man or even use the space in front of him and whip in a decent cross he wouldn't be with us he'd have been picked up by a championship club at least

In some respects you are not wrong but have you ever looked across the line to see how many players you can see busting a gut to get into the penalty area to get on the end of the cross?
I've seen Tendayi, and others, look and, guess what, there's nobody there.
This is one draw back to our style of possession football in that generally our attacking midfielders are behind the ball and not moving ahead of it.

Fair comment dtp, but even when there are players in the box he still takes too long to control the ball and decide what to do with it. It's a shame, because he's quick to get forward and uses his pace to recover most of his mistakes. I suppose if he had no weaknesses, he'd be playing in the premiership!

Not that fast? Very good defensive positioning? We talking about the same player here?
I'd say hes got a fair bit of pace to his game. His positioning however has been woeful recently regardless of where he may have been converted from. The goals conceeded against city, and the chances had by Oldham, particularly show TD is too easily turned insideout at fullback ATM.
IMO he turns the wrong way when an attacker comes inside, as a result he loses sight of both the player and the ball. This makes him easy to turn and opens up opportunities for the opposition.

Time will tell. Time will tell.
And just to upset you further I can see Darikwa as a possible replacement for JR in the long run.

I genuinely think people think Tendayi is fast cos he's black. Small/medium height black players are usually always seen by fans as fast for one reason or another - there is mileage in that theory, believe me. He's no slouch don't get me wrong but he's nothing special.
I'm really not sure where you've got "goals" from against Bristol City. He's at fault for part of the first goal granted but he wasn't the only one, Evatt put a simple clearance into his own net for starters lol. Tendayi should've got rid sooner but there wasn't much he could've done about their winger shifting it and crossing it, he certainly wasn't turned inside out. He couldn't do anything about the other two. Against Oldham I know one of their man took it inside him and shot over the bar but was there much else apart from that? I think he's been pretty solid defensively this season.
If Tendayi is turning the wrong way when an attacking comes inside there's someone to blame and it's the coaching staff.
