What do you like about the concourses?· What don’t you like about the concourses?· What improvements would you like to see on the concourses?· What would entice you into the concourses on a match day a little bit earlier?· Any feedback you can think of in relation to the concourses.
Please send your feedback on the concourses to feedback@chesterfield-fc.co.uk.

Read more at http://www.chesterfi...zPupxo6yy4Ts.99

Surprises me that anyone wants to eat and drink on the concourse before the game. Its just not a comfortable place; limited space to rest your pint, nowhere to sit, a cold, breeze block corridor. We always have a pie and pint of Bud at half time and the concourse is ok for a short space of time, but before the game? No thanks - pub for us. The pluses are jackson pies, brampton bud and halftime scores on sky tv screens.
Oh and folk can nip out for a fag at half time if they want

All Greggs food is disgusting.

In Your Opinion of course.

In their opinion £740m turnover is a lot of people buying the disgusting food.

The concourses are for match days only and will never replicate the fine dining and Real Ale Pubs and Restaurants around Whitt Moor, but if they want to encourage more people and more spending then maybe the Feedback is what will help.

The Prices are the main thing people will pick up on. Some of the other requests will probably be uneconomical or unviable for Match Days but without Feedback they will never know.

Your karaoke idea is well worth considering but I could I suggest, only for mid week games be cause it would clash with the live music

Agree and the limited opportunity time wise should see quicker service i.e. more staff. A cash only queue might help........
God I hate this league.

Both trialled already and deemed not to be worth it for various reasons. That said i did see in the programme last night a bit about how Wycombe have got together with a company to provide free wifi at Adams Park. Wonder if the club have one eye on how that turns out?!?

If we get it then maybe we can follow the lead of the San Francisco 49ers and their new ground...that has wifi access and they have a smartphone app that allows you to order food and have it delivered to your seat within 20mins. Now i'm not sure thats feasible for us but may be possible to order ahead via the app and go to a different bar area to collect pre ordered food that may help with queues.

Why the need for wifi at a game?
To access other scores?

I used to love the cheese and onion pasties that Thurstons sold in Town (used the one round the corner from next), didn't seem to be the same when Greggs took over.

I think folk do like to look at other scores on phones or read things at half time, pre game etc. One issue is that so many people concentrated in on area will swamp a cell tower and cause issues for folk getting a data signal as the tower doesnt have the bandwidth to cope and it will vary massively dependant on the phone network. Last two games i've been with my other half who has been unable to do anything via data on her iPhone on O2 whilst my iPhone on 3 has been working fine. This said they would have to be very sure they have the bandwidth in the same way for any Wifi installation to cope with x thousand of folk connecting at the same time!

Its not necessairly the scores as i can get them from the screens in the concourse but i guess in the modern age i am used to being able to access my phone apps (google, high5it, etc) which require WiFi/data usage from wherever I am. I see JonB has mentioned his other half having problems with O2. I am on 02 also and nearly everygame i cannot access any app requiring data usage...perhaps i need to consider changing network providor!

The WiFi and bookies (i know they have both been trialled) were actually both tongue in cheek to add to Azul's perfect list to give the ultimate concourse setting!

Lots of dirty chavs and students around to buy their cheap sickening muck.

Wouldn't give it to dogs.

You're probably right close but I wouldn't mind that sort of turnover from Dirty Chavs, Students or anyone else that buys from there. It can't be that bad to rake it in.

p.s. The Wife's just text me and she's bought us a Sandwich and a Sausage & Been Pasty from Greggs for Tea as we don't have time for anything proper. She is not a Student and definitely not a Chav or Dirty, so I'm going to have to disagree with your opening statement.

I'd text her back and tell her not to bother.

Blimey- what's your opinion of people who shop at Wilko or Aldi or drink in Wetherspoons?

Wilko and Aldi pretty much the same as Greggs. I avoid them if at all possible.
Wetherspoons is ok - cheap beer and a good quality selection (Devils Backbone or big bottles of Moretti for 2.99 is a very good deal)

Dont bother with Wilkos mainly because i rarely venture into town these days but dont dismiss Aldi...the stuff on sale is very decent and its worth a visit for stocking up with beer\wine should the need arise alone.
