Simple truth is,

Tories - noone likes them anymore due to their antics.

Reform - apparently racist, nut job supporting invaders.

Lib Dems - lack a voice

Labour - silent assassins that will increase all taxes apart from income tax, vat and NI. Get ready for your council taxes to rise. Living in a fantasy world and have been poor/weak opposition and will get in based on the Tories downfall and nothing more.

Not really inspiring is it?

Is this the worst ever general election for the voting public?

I?ve said this previously on here but paradoxically were probably going to have the biggest margin of win in modern times by a party that nobody, apart from their loyal followers, really has any enthusiasm for. That’s certainly the case with Starmer.
I remember Blair winning in 97 and he was almost like a rock star, it felt like a carnival when he won a landslide, there was genuine hope and optimism, something sadly lacking when talking about the upcoming landslide. Oh and Blair worked out well didn?t he?
I might not even vote tbh.

Werent folk making names up for politicians childish? Seems to be now ok.

And shouldnt due process be followed? Or you?re just assuming theyre guilty? Im sure Raynor was allowed due process?

Dont get me wrong I think the Tories are an awful party and will get walloped but play by the same rules surely?

When they are the ones making the rules and then being the same idiots breaking the rules they've created they're fair game in my book.

Suddenly cheering JKR? not me, I?ve been championing her view against left wing bigots for a while.
Oh and off piste, female nurses at Darlington memorial hospital have complained about a transgender colleague spending overly long times in the female changing room, intimidating behaviour and staring at them undressing, have been told, rather than being supported, that they need re education and made to feel like bigots. You?re not the bigots ladies.
Oh and btw, could you please direct me to where I?ve ?repeatedly refused to condem the events of Jan 6?, an accusation you made yesterday. Or admit it?s not the case.

Who can forget the hilarious Mancock name, it still makes me guffaw now. Yet Krankie for our beloved Sturgeon was deemed childish. You, like myself, have got this section sussed as well mate. Political activism, quote courtesy of Frears Ghost, abounds on these threads.

The Sky News bench was at Owlerton dog track yesterday and the views confirmed what I?ve been saying for a while. Labour will win but there?s very little joy at the prospect of a Starmer government with one Labour voter saying they couldn?t stand him?

Fair point regarding the names, but not a fair analogy with Raynor.

It's a yes or no question: did you bet on the election date?

The bobby involved has been suspended and arrested. Why not senior Tories....?

So Farage and Johnson enter into a war of words each describing the other as morally repugnant.

A genuine popcorn moment for the vast majority dropping jaws at the self awareness absent irony, but leaving the self confessed cultists of both with a teeth grinding dilemma...

They aren't MPs anymore so unlikely, although technically they were before the election was called.

No longer being supported by the party as I understand - although not really up with the news as away having a break!

Without skin in the game, i.e. not Labour, Tory or Reform. At least Labour have immediately suspended him from standing and returned his donations to the party. The Tories dithered and stuck their collective fingers in their ears for a week before doing their 2 and they're still bleating they did nothing wrong!

Possibly 400+ MPs? Potential there for a lot of rotten apples in that barrel! But ?scum? I?d see what their misdemeanours actually were before I went all ?left wing woke? and stodged the board with countless links that all said the same thing.
