Agree with the 'field kids and two or three first teamers needing game time' stuff.

But possibly contradicting how little I care, is this on '1866'....?

Before we dropped in to this god forsaken league, I was on 121. Not kept a record since, must be over 150 now.
Would the Footbology (Groundhopper) app tell me?

Yes that's where I got my figure from.

Go on clubs, then select Chesterfield, then your Chesterfield fan ranking number, assuming you've selected us and the number will show there. Click on that and it'll show you a map of them all

I understand that Town are the bookies favourites to win the FA Trophy. The accumulated prize money for winning the competition is over £98,000. Maybe Town don’t need the money!

How much do we win, if we go up as champions?

Why not go for the League & Trophy ?
Juergen Klopp said last week that Liverpool are still in 4 competitions - “let’s go for them” !

I'm sure there will be the odd first teamed, but probably only Boot and maybe Grimes for the first half.
Our focus must be the league, but who do we play apart from the kids? I'm all for winning everything we can, and I understood your point of view, but we've just lost Ryan Colclough and Miguel Freckleton is struggling with a tight hamstring, so can we afford to lose anyone else when we have a flood of games coming our way. Whoever plays, I'll be listening if it's on 1866 and if not I'll look for updates on here.

For anyone mad enough to be travelling down for this one.

A few of us London based Spireites are meeting at the New Cross Turnpike at midday on Saturday before walking down to the ground. There is a number of other pubs en route that we’ll drop into before kick off.

34 of us on the coach tomorrow departing at 9am👍

Interestingly we see the decision to go down to Welling with a group of kids and no first team management as acceptable with our priority winning the league and gaining promotion. A touch disappointing that we’re not ‘in it to win it’ but acceptable under the circumstances.

I wonder what the reaction from our fans would have been if we’d drawn a big side, Man City for example, in the cup and Pep had sent the academy coach with an academy side?

Uproar at the disrespect, I’d guess.

FWIW I’m more than happy to get tomorrow out of the way to clear the way for our promotion run-in but I’d have been massively disappointed if the shoe was on the other foot.

We'd've said that gives us a good chance of making the next round, thanks Pep. More potential for another big team and more round winner's money in the Bank.
