I find it bewildering that a debate about whether someone is any good at kicking a ball around can end up with some of the posts we've had on this thread.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

I agree but if a poster starts a thread abusing a player as rubbish/useless etc. surely can dish out but not take it?

Not very constructive really

I think your missing it completely.

Typing the cack you do post on here has sod all to do with being in a wheelchair - and its the cack you post, not the fact you are in a wheelchair, that gets you the negative attention.

A new hope.

I reckon a play-off chasing L2 club would give him 2 years. Hows about that.

From the opening post this thread got what it deserved and to be honest I (and a few others it seems) have a morbid cureosity in it

It's not the responses to the original post, it's the abuse thrown at other posters I can't get my head around, classic Ad Hominem.

For me, it throws the topic off track, and becomes about the posters rather than the topic.

I can't get to many games nowadays so listen on 'Player'. Depending on who is commentating (one is spectacularly poor)for Spireites I sometimes switch to the opposing commentary. There is nearly always a comment like 'We can't handle that big French lad, he's a real handful!' He must be doing something right and, as others have said, he's still learning and I've seen plenty others miss 'sitters'. If all our team played absolutely 100% and consistently well, scoring every 'chance' they wouldn't be in League 1. So, admittedly I haven't seen him a lot but do watch the extended highlights. I'm disappointed in these last games but at the beginning of the season would have settled for mid table.

Big fella, probably a bit overweight, skinhead, tattoos, usually in cropped jeans, long lace-up DMs, maybe wearing bracers?! Recall him running on the pitch before one home game, shaking hands with both captains in centre circle and then jogging back to kop with his name being sung. Hero worship eh?

Other fans reactions - We sat down the side opposite where the players come out at Scunthorpe in the middle of Scunny supporters. Good banter and interesting to exchange opinions on players such as McSheffrey and Ryan familiar to both clubs. Interestingly they couldn't understand why Gnanduillet wasn't started because they rated him from what they had seen.

'tic mcshane' sounds like a character.
