what has happened to the modern day footballer,cole is everything that is vile about the overpaid tossers in the premier league,he is a despicable character and one of the most overated players of all time,his attitude was deplorable and made me sick to the bottom of my stomach,his tackle was x rated and then he turned his back,if id been the ref,there would have been no other option but to level him......rant over

He's scum and nothing else....probably the most hated footballer in the country....An Rs e Cole!

money, gone to his head, thinks he can do anything he likes, on (that tackle was as as bad as taylors) and off the field. someone needs to him sort out. maybe ignoring him for the england team. when he truned his back like that it made me cringe, hes a *****

Cole should have been banned, but the FA have bottled it. Thankfully, for every Ashley Cole there is a Linvoy Primus. Unfortunately, running the Great Wall of China for charity and visiting sick kids in hospital doesn't sell many red-topped newspapers.

Ashley Cole and John Terry really are at the ar5e end of football. I cannot stand either of them. Their behaviour on a football pitch, week in, week out is a disgrace. They are supposedly role models and act like that. If I had my way they wouldnt be anywhere near an England squad ever again. Cole shows that little respect to a fellow professional and to a referee can you imagine how he treats the average guy on the street??

They both deserve every bit of stick they get on the football pitch. I only hope Capello has realised this and cole never plays for England again and Terry nevers wears the armband again.

taylors wasnt even a bad tackle

cole is an idiot. not even that good of a player. he's ok going forward but defensivly weak. only real strength is that once he's ballsed up he's quick enough to get back

I can't decide who's annoying me more this week, Ashley Cole or Heather Mills.

Ashley Cole is probably the sole reason why I wouldn't like Chelsea to win the Prem. Does anyone else think Grant looks like he should be in "The Munsters"?
