Agree. The winner Smith looked useless
Was Smith described as a “winner” thought he was described as “frustrating” he certainly was useless and I’ll add disinterested

They really aren’t a good advert for this Herbalife stuff they keep singing the praises of. At the start of the season MA jokingly offered a chance for a fan to win a hill training session in the Peak District with the team. Maybe he backed out of following through because he knew they were all heartless carthorses. Stealing a wage today. Still can’t believe he took Reid off and left JBW on.

absolutely why not, the so called senior players are proving they are not up to it, I've not seen much of our youth players from the bits I have seen I do like levi, wakefield has never yet convinced me, as for iffy got to be worth a go at right back, it was sad to watch drew today in that 1st half

JBW threw up his hands in frustration at one stage in the first half, but then he seemed ineffective the entire match: didn't deliver the ball into the box with any real quality. I thought Gateshead played the wings very well today and their goals came down those channels IIRC: the second was good enough for a league 1 or 2 fixture.

Gateshead attacked from first to last and didn't do the corner flag routine at all, it seemed to me. It might have been different if they were defending a narrow lead with say, one minute to play.
In truth, they had 3 and could have grabbed 4 or 5.

Did you see how quickly Reid got back to help defend after his pathetic attempted back-heel led to their goal?
Neither Reid nor JBW put in a decent cross in the entire game but Reid probably put in less poor crosses and whilst JBW did enter their penalty area I don't think Reid, from a position further up the pitch, ever did.

Well I personally thought JBW was MOM with a 4 out of 10. He is, unfortunately, clueless with his final ball but he made some good runs especially first half when the only danger came down the left. The RHS of which Drew is such an important cog did three fifths of nowt.
He's got to play Weir, Rowley, and Carter in midfield.

So he’s going to play Wier, a player he wants gone - And not play Weston who’s ever present and scored Two goals (our 2nd top goal scorer).
If he does this, he’s 100% lost the plot.
PS. I think Drew’s legs have finally given up on him.

Weston did not look fit, whoever decided to play (risk) him deserves a good talking to by CPS

I’d say legs feet and head. It’s worrying when you look at the low lights of the match than JBW was involved of the little we offered. Obviously it doesn’t show all the times he kicked it with his slicer foot but nevertheless he was involved

I posted on here a month or so ago that several senior players had questioned MA on his lack of fitness work in training, citing that for our then habit of conceeding late goals.
Ut doesn't seem like anything has changed.
