Not sure about a right back.

Think he'll give Sheckleford with Mands as back up a go to start with...

I'm surprised that nobody, including podcasters, thinks that Akinola can compete there.

Interesting re your last sentence. I was talking to a Mansfield supporting mate the other day and he said that now they?re in L1 they may be forced to listen to offers for Kiellor-Dunn because the fee offered would be much higher. It may well be his wishful thinking but he said he could push ?1m.

Don't get me started on K-D.
I would have thought he'd have to have a storming first 3 months to be worth owt like ?1m but a more realistic fee and a sell on is perhaps their best way to benefit. Mind you, they'd need a better negotiator than the half wit that sold Clucas.

I think we all have the ebanks Blake syndrome to a certain degree. Nothing wrong with the right player at the right time. Cookie knows

Yep. Technically in our current position with our budget we can sign the right player to get the job done, It's not until our next promotion that success becomes increasingly difficult unless successful strategic player development enhances the budget. That said, it's taking shape.

It would be interesting to see a list of historical big transfers out of L2. I think the big money is made from transfers out of L1. It's just a DV theory though whilst I'm bored. Could be bollux.

Sorry, but that?s a load of hog wash. Tactics are the structure by which the team plays, the team has to successfully deploy those tactics which means it?s reliant upon the skills and decisions of the players on the pitch for 90 minutes. The argument here is a simple one, that we are more likely to face a better standard of opposition in league two than we were in the National League, both defensively and offensively. Therefore, without any change, it is likely that our goals scored will be reduced and our goals conceded increased- with hopefully obvious implications. Whilst we?ve changed potentially some of the attacking options in the team, we have not changed any of the defensive options.

The evidence is that we improved both our attack and defence last year simply by playing Jones in CM, which kinda disproves your theory.
