Just found out that my Uncle - husband of my mums sister- Peter Neale passed away on Saturday at 89 years old.
Born in Duckmanton he had a short spell with Town in the late 60s after a career which started at Oldham and then he played for Scunthorpe in the old second division before moving back to NE Derbyshire.

Really sorry to hear this, condolences to you and all his family, especially to Alan his son who I grew up with in Inkersall.

RIP Phil great centre half read the game well which made up for his lack off height in his chosen position. Played in and unfortunately got a deflection for an og in the memorable FA cup game at Blackpool.

If memory serves I think he finally hung up his boots after turning out in the Chesterfield Sunday League for Inky Club.

Condolences to all.
