Let’s see if I can get it right…

Tyrer; Sheckleford, Williams, Grimes, Horton; Oldaker, Naylor; Jacons, Banks, Berry, Quigley.

I'd be surprised to see Horton play tonight, he got a right rollocking after their goal on Saturday

I'll go:

Tyrer, Sheckleford, Palmer, Grimes, Clements, Oldaker, Naylor, Mandeville, Jacobs, Colclough, Grigg (it seems the perfect game to get him closer to that golden boot)

Just thought Horton is more attacking. Who knows

Possibly, and I'm only going on the interaction I saw Saturday, it's a decent game for King, but I have no idea if we will ever see him again

As much as I like Oxford City... lets bury these tonight. I want to see us put someone to the sword.

I want to see 100+ league goals scored and points achieved this season and hopefully this match goes a long way to contribute towards that target.

As I suggested I'd like to see Jones play, but understand it if he doesn't. Is it the kind of game to have Colclough from the start to help him back to fitness? I would also probably take a chance on Quigley. I say take a chance because I fear he is reverting back to his ineffective latter half of last season. If he's played from the start it can't be said he isn't being given time. And who knows he might score a hat trick!
I can understand those who want Grigg to play to help him towards the goal tally, but the team is more important and he and Jones, and possibly Colclough, should perhaps be saved for the, in theory, tougher game on Saturday.

My.view is that this, and not Saturday, is the club’s most important league game for 6 years. Strongest side needed.

A win tonight and the race is almost won. Our forehead will be touching the finishing tape.

I’d be so excited with how close we are, it wouldn’t be my forehead touching the tape….

Think Grigg will start to give him a chance of top league scorer

Agreed, and I'm sure PC feels the same BUT he'll want to go to BP on Saturday and give us the best chance of beating them in their own back yard as possible.

For me, Jones sits tonight out and Colclough gets a decent 30 minutes or so, apart from that I'd go unchanged (injuries allowing), with maybe Jacobs taking Mandys place, too.

He'll pick a team to get the game won early and then look at resting folk for the last 20/25mins where required. A first half like Gateshead would be good!

I suspect the keeper, defence and up top pick themselves with the same as Saturday then its a toss up between Jones and Oldaker alongside Naylor and which three play behind Grigg. I'd be tempted to play Oldaker if only for the fact i can see them sitting in and he could help unlock it getting on the ball. Attacking 3 could see Colclough start with maybe Mandeville and Dobra central. Could even drop Banks in alongside Naylor.

I want to see absolute destruction of these tonight, I want to see headlines in all the media channels and Twitter. ‘Chesterfield thump Oxford 11-0’

How much does the early ko on Saturday have a bearing ?
God I hate this league.

I reckon tonight we’ll have to be patient. I don’t know their style but given they don’t score much they will park the proverbial bus.
