The club probably made more money from those 3 combined than winning the FA Trophy outright... so yea, they were bigger..

Why would we have won? Divine right? They’re one off games, and we have lost 8 of those this season. We could’ve lost on penalties. It’s tinpot cup, Paul Cook and his coaching staff obviously took that view, and hardly anyone is arguing against that perspective.

We may not have won but who knows.
If it’s a tinpot cup it’s a tinpot league - but we are in it (blame Carson and Lester etc for that of course) but we have been in it for 5 years so I guess we have been tinpot all that time?

But in the days of FFP, games in the FA Trophy could end up costing the club money, and eating into the revenues that are used for next seasons budget,. Plus I'm not sure if you noticed, but we won a Trophy this season, a better one than the FA Trophy, one that says we are champions.. and shows we were the BEST team in the league..
