I will start, Wigan central defender Donervon Daniels, 23, 1.86m tall, only 23. A virtual ever present last season, now out of favour, and only played two games this. Also Harry Vukic, a Newcastle constant loanee- with Wigan for 15 games last season, and on loan to Bradford this, loan expired this month.

Did Daniels score at both ends when they played us up here?

Was the MK "Dongs" a spell check error or have you seen them in the shower?

Reece Wabara is still without a club after leaving Wigan. He is a RB and would definitely do a job for us. GC released him from Wigan, but may feel he is worth a shot with us, maybe on a short term basis at first.

MLS pre-season starts next week so I can see him returning to Atlanta. Remember, players will have to leave in order for them to come in. I assume we are allowed to bring in one player at the moment seeing as Liddle departed?
Will he give SEB another chance? Seeing as he scored last night.

Chris McCann already has returned to Atlanta. He is more of a future target I think. Reece Wabara will be available on a free and when fit, would be an excellent signing. As far as I'm aware, though, he hasn't played since May, so that could be an issue - At least initially.
SEB certainly tried harder than usual last night but was rarely effective. He is, however, a poacher, so in the right team, he will score goals. Whether that team is Chesterfield or not, I'm not so sure. I hope so, though.

Agreed, would like us to sign a right back. Someone with some pace, like a Darikwa type (whats happened to him by the way?)
The biggest thing we need this month is a central midfielder in my view. Someone who can dictate the game and not afraid to get stuck in. I know Martinez is on his way back but I dont think he will be that player who can do this.

Darikwa played in the cup v Sunderland last night and put in a cracking assist for Burnley's opener.

Wabara is definitely a "Darikwa Esque" style of right back. Darikwa is mainly on the bench for Burnley these days.
Martinez will be good for us eventually, but he is a long way off yet. Matlock was his biggest test so far defensively last night and although he looked good in spells, he did get bullied physically and lost his man for one of the goals.

We've also not replaced the assistant manager, does that count as more money in the wage pot for players?

I would guess that Richie will be in line for a pay rise if he is to become assistant manager. From rumours in the past it seems like he isnt on much money at the club but I may be completely wrong.
As for Martinez, people say he needs time. Yes he does but he is out of contract at the end of the season and I would say its 90% certain he wont be here next season.
