It is a disgrace that the authorities have openly allowed him to spout his vileness for 20 years but have now finally got the balls from somewhere to lock this man up, which is great news. Are we turning a corner? For decades the authorities and police have been petrified of addressing hate speech and radicalization in the streets from anyone of Muslim faith due to fear of looking like a racist or an "Islamaphobe." But locking this guy up sends a message to other Islamic hate preachers that are out in force, un-challenged in many towns and cities, that it will no longer be tolerated and that we are not bothered which religion you follow, if your preaching hatred towards people, your getting done! Halleluiah and about time!

At many of Anjems gangs on street recruitment to Islam demonstrations, a counter demonstration has taken place, especially in London and Luton and in most cases the Islamic hate preachers have been protected, allowed to speak and the counter group have been arrested, cautioned and some charged for; inciting hatred, beach of the peace and various other things. I hope these people who had the balls to stand up to Anjems possy get their charges reversed and an apology... I cant see it though!

Two things that are still a big worry that not that many people are aware of are; the prison system for one. Prisons are a breading ground for Islamic Terrorism. Despite only 4% of our population being Muslim, 17% of prisoners are Muslim with many of those holding extremist views. Similar to on the streets, these Islamists are unchallenged in their radicalization of other Muslim and even non Muslims. They all have a Quran and go and prey together. Anjem will be seen to all of the extreme element as some sort of hero and will be looking radicalize others as much as possible. The other issue people might not realize and probably struggle to accept is that Anjem Choudary is the most devout Muslim you could meet. He knows every page of the Quran and all other Islamic scripture off by heart. He and his gang devote their entire life to living in the exact same way as the prophet Mohamed. On some of his you tube videos you will see the words of hate and violence he is preaching coming straight from the holy book and quoted from the prophet that Muslims follow....
So still a lot of work to do in combating radical Islam but with locking up Anjem it seems we have finally made a start.

They should have let him go and then shot him and denied all knowledge of doing so.

On the news now that the Government are now re evaluating the prison system in the wake of Islamic radicalization in the prison service.

It's as though the establishment have suddenly started listening to people that have been saying these things for years, rather then ignorantly calling them racist!

Brexit could well be the defining moment.....at least I hope so...to the time when we at last started to think about ourselves and those that embrace our country and beliefs rather than those that live here but want to usurp us and harm us under the cover that our country gives them.

I agree mate. I think Brexit has changed the political landscape forever, for the better! Politicians are beginning to appreciate that the people will no longer stand for the over PC, over tolerant, soft touch Britain anymore. Maybe it has hit home that they are accountable and that if they don't show some balls in dealing with issues that are a real concern, then the new voters who have come out of the woodwork during the referendum will no doubt shout about it
