Hello Everyone,

It is unfortunate I am having to post this but your help could save my football career. In one of the last games of the season, I went down with a knee injury and upon having an MRI and seeing a specialist, I have been told I need an operation on my ACL to be able to play football again.

Having played for Chesterfield FC for 10 years from the age of 10 and making my professional debut at 16, to then moving down into semi-pro with the likes of Buxton, Ilkeston, Belper, Basford and most recently Shepshed.

As many of you will know, football has been my life for the last 20 years and I want to continue to play the sport that I love for many years to come. To be able to do so I am asking for any donations possible to help fund this operation which is ?8795.

This would mean the world to me to be able to get this operation done and get back on the field as soon as possible to do the thing I love.

Just a reminder that England C play Wales C tonight. The Non-League paper put out an updated squad list yesterday.It appears that McCallum won't be playing against Barnet and Stead won't be playing for Barnet.
It also appears as if Jamie Grimes has withdrawn from the squad.

Has been rearranged for Tuesday 19th March (same night as England v Wales © and the night before our game against Halifax.
If Barnet win v Woking on Saturday, we could win Tuesday night if they drop points v Eastleigh...

At home going to be televised on TNT. Kick off stays at 3pm due to being international break.
