Absolutely heartbroken to let you all know that lifelong Spireite Dennis Wagg passed away this evening. An inspirational man who led an inspirational life. A regular on True Blue Travel, rarely missed a game with his son Kevin and one of the nicest men you could wish to meet. Reunited with his lovely wife June 🙏🏻💔 Rest in Peace Dennis, I will miss travelling the many miles with you. 💙

Dennis, Kevin and the whole family were part of the Memorial Garden as they visited June's plaque every home game and during most weeks. I will miss Dennis' visits to the Garden and his presence on the disabled terrace at matches.

My condolences to both Kevin and his sister.
I was schoolmates with Kev, he entered his dad into a supporter of the year competition in the old "shoot" magazine. He won it.
RIP to a true supporter.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

This is kev, Dennis' son. I would like to thank you for all your lovely messages about my dad at this sad time, it is much appreciated. As well as being my dad he was also my best friend and I will miss him greatly and will find it strange being at the games without him. I will post funeral arrangements on here as soon as I know them.

Many thanks warfey, really sad time and finding it hard. I will post funeral arrangements on here as soon as I know as I don't have any of your personal contact details. Dad used to always comment on how funny some of your remarks were even when results were rubbish! It made us laugh when Dad told you about monolulu the old racing tic tac man with feathers.

I'm so sorry Kev. It was a pleasure to sit behind you on all those True Blue trips and I've missed it very much.

Thanks for your kind words Barbara . It is a really sad time at the moment , after being dad's carer for two years it is now so strange not having him here and having a laugh and a joke with him. Hope we see you soon back at the matches.
